Resettlement Worker - Supporting Women at Risk of Homelessness
📍 Location: Near Edgware Road Station, London
💷 Pay Rate: £14.94 per hour
We are looking for a Resettlement Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support to women experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by helping residents rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Resettlement Worker, you will:
Support women to access accommodation, education, training, and employment opportunities
Deliver wellbeing and empowerment programmes to encourage independence
Work closely with residents to develop personalised resettlement plans
Provide practical and emotional support to help women move towards independent living
Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is empathetic, patient, and reliable
Has experience supporting vulnerable adults or in a similar social care role (desirable but not essential)
Can work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives
