About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in a children's residential setting. This role focuses on supporting young people with challenging behaviours in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and individual care plans.
  • Promote education, independence, and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.


Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential or challenging behaviour environment.
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Driving licence preferred.
  • MIT: No personal care required.
