Security Admin Officer

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team within the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our operations by managing and processing security vetting checks. In addition, you will provide essential administrative support to:

• The Data Protection Officer (Head of the Security Information and Assurance Division)
• The Head of the Operational Security Team
• The wider Operational Security Team

• Manage and process security vetting checks for CPS staff and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document management, and correspondence.
• Assist with data protection and security assurance activities as directed by senior team members.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of vetting processes.

• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a security or compliance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role requires Security Check (SC) clearance. Candidates must have successfully completed and passed SC vetting prior to commencing work in the unit.
