Senior Clerical Officer
Location: Belfast
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
About the Role
We're currently recruiting a Senior Clerical Officer to support a public sector client based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy office environment and delivering high-quality support to colleagues and customers.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations, working closely with officers, customers, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but won't be limited to:
Providing comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of the section's work
Using a full range of IT systems, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email, intranet, and internet tools
Offering advice and assistance to Education Authority officers, customers, members of the public, and other professionals in line with agreed service areas
Collating factual data and statistical information from a variety of sources to support operational needs
Preparing letters, minutes, notes, and other documentation as required
Delivering excellent customer service, both over the telephone and through direct customer-facing interactions
Essential Experience
At least one year's demonstrable administrative or clerical experience in an office environment
Essential Qualifications
A minimum of five GCSEs (grades A-C)* or equivalent (or higher qualification)
