Are you reliable, hands-on, and looking to join a well-established team carrying out essential upkeep and fitting work across retail stores nationwide. No two days are the same, and full training will be provided - all we need is your commitment and willingness to learn.
You will need to be able to get to the main office in Woking for 6:00am.
🔨 Key Responsibilities:
- Start your day early - Arrive at the yard by 6:00am. The team van departs at 6:15am sharp.
- Air conditioning unit filter cleaning (on ladders) across shop floors, front doors, and staff areas.
- Inspect all shop doors - Test handles, Digi locks, door closers, and replace faulty items using van stock.
- Check for wear and tear on door frames and note areas requiring painting.
- Inspect MDF shelving - Repair any damage caused by misuse (materials provided in van).
- Store unitry checks - Ensure all display stands have the correct number of top caps and arm end caps.
- Painting tasks - Mainly in customer changing rooms and door areas using white acrylic eggshell (not matt). Wet paint signage, before/after photos, and use of proper protection (dust sheets, gloves, masking tape) are required.
- Clear rubbish or foliage from air conditioning condenser cages and dispose responsibly.
- PAT testing - Training provided as required.
- Ceiling tile replacements where needed.
- Daily van stock checks - Restock used materials at the end of each day.
- Site clean-up - Tidy tools, clean paint equipment responsibly (only in cleaners sink), and ensure a clean finish on all tasks.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Punctual and dependable individuals
- Practical and hands-on mindset
- Willingness to travel to different sites
- Able to follow instructions and work to a high standard
- CSCS card and driving licence preferred
- Comfortable using ladders and basic hand tools
🚀 What We Offer:
