Support Worker

Tranmere, Wirral
Service Type: 20-Bedded Supported Living Flat Scheme
Hours: Full-time (temporary with a view to go permanent)


About the Service

We are a warm and welcoming supported living service in Tranmere, Wirral, providing person-centred support to adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability. Our 20-bedded flat scheme promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. Among the people we support, five individuals also have physical disabilities and require assistance with mobility and daily living.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join our dedicated team.


What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping people live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support with daily routines

  • Supporting individuals to engage in meaningful activities

  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity

  • Supporting with medication administration (training provided)

  • Encouraging community participation and social inclusion

  • Keeping accurate records and maintaining professional standards

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
