Learning Disability / Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Middlewich
Service Type: Step-Down Supported Living
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts
Salary: £12.60 per hour

🏡 About the Service

We are a Step-Down Supported Living Service providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs who are moving towards greater independence. Our aim is to empower individuals to develop daily living skills, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.

💙 The Role

As a Learning Disability / Mental Health Support Worker, you will:

Provide compassionate, consistent support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in everyday life.
Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, budgeting, personal care, and accessing the community.
Encourage and assist with meaningful activities and social engagement.
Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and the wider team to deliver person-centred care.
Maintain clear and accurate records in line with service standards and policies.

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Caring, patient, and committed to making a difference.
Able to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Reliable, flexible, and a team player.
Experienced in social care (preferred but not essential - full training provided).
