Shift Type: Adoc shifts

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality support to adults and young adults living with mental health needs within a supported living service of 12 self-contained flats.

🏠 About the Role

You will be supporting individuals to live independently while promoting recovery, well-being, and personal growth. Each resident lives in their own self-contained flat, and your role will focus on person-centred support tailored to individual needs.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Providing emotional and practical support to adults and young adults with mental health needs

  • Supporting individuals with daily living skills (cooking, budgeting, appointments, self-care)

  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity

  • Encouraging engagement with community activities and services

  • Supporting with medication in line with policies and training

  • Maintaining accurate records and support plans

  • Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies

👤 About You

  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature

  • Experience in mental health support (preferred but not essential - training provided)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
