Our client is based in the City of London near to Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street and they are looking for a Trainee Office Administrator to join their team.
This a newly created role and will probably suit someone with some basic office admin skills who is looking to kick-start their office administration career in the City.
The day to day duties will cover a range of general administration duties such as:
- Receiving visitors
- Booking and setting up meeting rooms
- Providing and clearing of meeting refreshments
- Ordering stationary
- Buying general office supplies such as teas and coffees.
You will also help with:
- Organising company and client events
- Some senior staff expenses
- Assisting the Compliance Manager with ad hoc admin support
- Setting up of new IT equipment
So this role will give you a good grounding of all round office admin support functions and the duties are likely to evolve as you gain a greater understanding of how their office works.
As mentioned the ideal candidate will have an A'level/Btec Level 3 standard of education, already have had some basic office administration experience , have good all round IT capabilities (including Outlook) and have a willing and can-do will-do attitude.
They need someone who can work on their own initiative and be flexible in their day to day duties
This role is based a minimum of 4 days per week in their City office with 1 day working from home, but there maybe a requirement to be in the office 5 days per week as needed.
They are offering a salary range of £25- 28000
