Tribunal Support Officer/Tribunal Admin Assistant Job Description

Brook Street have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our public Sector clients in Newport on a hybrid working basis on a 12-month initial term (temp). Hours - 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay - £13.90

Overview:

This is an administration role within the Tribunal Section of the IPO, providing essential support to the caseworkers and assisting with tribunal hearings. The position operates in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of email correspondence on a daily basis and performing admin tasks using an internal system.

Main duties consist of:

  • Monitor the Tribunal mailboxes, actioning and distributing emails to the appropriate areas of the Tribunal.
  • Upload incoming emails from Outlook onto internal systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle incoming telephone enquiries, transferring or taking a message for caseworkers as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform a range of administrative duties using internal systems to support case management.

Hybrid Working

This role will be carried out in-line with IPO Hybrid working arrangements where You will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 1 day a week (20% of your working hours). Although there is flexibility to choose the day that suits you, you will also need to attend the office for training and other business essential work as and when required. This may be at short notice.

Experience:
