Support Worker - Adults with Acquired Brain Injury

Location: Weston-super-Mare Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour Contract: Temporary / Flexible Shifts

This 7‑bedded residential home supports adults with acquired brain injuries who may at times be vocal or display challenging behaviours, but who also enjoy engaging with staff and getting out into the community. There is no personal care and no lone working, and each resident has a clear pen picture to guide you before you start.

Role Overview

Support with daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, and household tasks
Accompany residents on walks, shopping trips, and outings
Manage behaviours confidently and maintain clear boundaries
Build rapport while following care plans and pen pictures
