Admin Officer
Location: 60 Pinfold Gate Loughborough, LE11 1AZ
Office based
Hourly rate: Day one rate £12.36 per hour increasing to £12.53 after 12 weeks
Working Days/Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:45pm & Friday 8:30am - 4:15pm (45 min lunch break)
Contract: This a temporary position for 6 months but due to be extended pending performance and business needs

Brook Street in partnership with the Ministry of justice has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer. This is great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

Experience Needed/desired:

• Need to make clear to candidate that this department is nothing to do with the court. The department is back-office admin work and processing.
• Excel experience is a must and efficient IT
• Confidence in taking calls from customers.
• Candidate must declare any convictions.
• Candidate must be available to work full time.

List the duties/ responsibilities:

Fixed Penalty - Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement
Duties include:

• General administrative support
• Processing driving licences.
• FSN's
• Opening post and sorting
• Monitoring mailbox, answering email enquires
• Taking telephone calls
• Working with stakeholders / public

Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):
Standard DBS

Training provided, what is their training plan and location of training:
Training length varies. Usually fully trained before 3 months. Down to the individual and how quick they pick up.

Additional clearance if applicable:
Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately require an additional overseas police check, this will be the responsibility of the candidate to provide.
