Clerical Officers play a vital role in keeping our NHS services running smoothly. Working across a variety of settings within the Trust - from Acute to Community Services - you'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients.
As a Clerical Officer, you'll provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services within your department. Guided by your line manager and working closely with colleagues, you'll help maintain the flow of vital information and support the daily operations that make a real difference.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors at reception.
- Use computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Collate and manage essential information and documentation.
- Take and relay messages promptly and professionally.
- Handle a range of queries with care and efficiency.
- Manage and transport medical and other records securely.
- Arrange appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Carry out general office duties such as photocopying and scanning.
