Case Administrator - Public Sector


Location: Portsmouth, PO1 2BD (fully onsite role)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Temporary assignment, currently until February 2027

We are seeking an organised and reliable Case Administrator to play a key role in the smooth running of day-to-day operations within a busy public sector environment. This role offers the opportunity to work within a very varied role, providing essential administrative support to the probation service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update case files and electronic databases accurately
  • Manage communications via telephone, email, Microsoft teams etc
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partner agencies
  • Use of an internal ticketing system to take cases
  • Use of internal databases and trackers

What We're Looking For

  • Strong administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Proactive approach and able to use initiative
  • Able to work alone and within a team

Please note - the successful candidate would be subject to Enhanced Level 1 Probation vetting. This can take around 6 - 8 weeks to complete.
