  • Location: Salisbury
  • Hours: 160 hours per month
  • Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
  • Sleep-In Rate: £65 per shift
  • Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off
  • Joining Bonus: £1,000

The Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential care provider for a Residential Care Worker to join a supportive team within a 4-bed home in Salisbury, supporting young people aged 8-17 years.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality, nurturing care and support, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and independence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consistent, compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment
  • Acting as a positive role model and setting clear boundaries
  • Supporting daily routines, education, and social activities
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and responding to behaviours of concern
  • Safeguarding young people and recognising signs of risk
  • Working collaboratively with social workers, schools, and professionals
  • Contributing to care plans, reviews, and therapeutic support
  • Maintaining high standards within the home (health & safety, wellbeing)
