Job description
Our education client are looking for a Data Administrator to join their team. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality data analysis and reporting for both internal stakeholders and external statutory bodies.
You'll play an important part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of student data, contributing to major data returns (including SLC, OfS, and HESA) and responding to Freedom of Information requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation and submission of statutory data returns (e.g. SLC, OfS, HESA)
Review and validate data, ensuring accuracy and coordinating corrections where needed
Maintain external databases
Extract, analyse, and present data using various systems including Excel.
Respond to ad-hoc data requests, including Freedom of Information enquiries
Produce datasets and reports for internal committees (e.g. Senate, Council)
Manage and publish data on internal and external web pages
Act as a key contact for enrolment reporting and data queries
Provide administrative support to data-focused meetings and working groups
Contribute to improving data quality and processes across systems
Candidate Requirements:
Degree-level education or equivalent experience
Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with strong organisational skills
This is a temporary role for 2 months to start asap paying c. £14 per hour offered on a hybrid basis with regular presence required onsite at our client's office in Bath (BA2).
