Examination Support Administrator

Location: Newport
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Working Style: Hybrid (minimum 20% office-based)

We're looking for an Examination Support Administrator to join our busy and supportive team in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working accurately, and wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support.

What you'll be doing

No two days are exactly the same, but your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing forms in line with agreed quality standards and legal requirements, and communicating outcomes clearly in writing
  • Accurately recording and maintaining data on internal databases, including uploading documents and identifying any gaps or errors
  • Producing clear, accurate documentation in line with guidance
  • Handling customer contact professionally:
    • Answering phone calls within 5 rings
    • Responding to general enquiries by letter/email within 5 days
    • Responding to detailed correspondence within 3 weeks
  • Supporting other teams with administrative tasks when required

Transformation & ways of working

Our office is currently undergoing an exciting Transformation programme, introducing new ways of working. You'll be expected to actively engage and participate in this change.

We work in a hybrid model, combining home and office working. You'll need to:

  • Attend the office for at least 20% of your working week
  • Take part in rotas
  • Occasionally attend the office at short notice if business needs require

📘 Training:
All training is office-based. The first two weeks will be fully office-based, and there may be additional weeks where multiple office days are required (with advance notice).
