We are supporting a high profile London Underwriters with their recruitment of an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join their Finance team
They are ideally looking for an experienced ACCA qualified ( CIMA and ACA will also be considered) Group Financial Accountant with a number of years experience in a Group reporting role.
This role will involve supervision of the rest of the team of 4 - so any team management experience would be ideal. It will suit a positive team player who is good at building relationships.
Their group is made up of @10 entities and you will be heavily involved with both monthly and annual financial reporting - both for each division as well as consolidating the reporting for the group as a whole.
You will also be focused on budgets, audits and some technical reporting too.
Ideally they are looking for someone who is confident with Sun Accounting systems ( they use Sun 6.3) and if you have any experience of Info Q&A that would be great
Experience in the Insurance industry is not essential but would be an added bonus, however working in in a similar corporate FCA regulated environment is preferred.
They are offering a competitive salary of between £70-80,000 plus an excellent range of benefits. They work on a hybrid week ( 3 days in the office and 2 at home)
