Ready to help young people build independent, brighter futures?

We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to support young people aged 16-25, including care leavers, as they transition into independent living.

This is not a care role, it's about practical guidance, emotional support, and empowering young people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

🔎 What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting young people to develop key life skills such as budgeting, managing benefits, and maintaining tenancies.

  • Building positive, trusting relationships that provide stability and encouragement.

  • Using your own interests (sports, music, art, fitness, etc.) to engage and inspire.

  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.

  • Managing your own caseload and maintaining accurate records.

✅ What We're Looking For

  • A natural ability to connect with young people, including those with trauma, mental health challenges, or substance misuse experiences.

  • Confidence, resilience, and creativity in your approach.

  • Strong communication and IT skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

  • Experience in youth work, housing, education, or similar fields (transferable skills welcomed!).

  • Safeguarding knowledge is beneficial but not essential.

  • NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in a related field

🎁 What's in It for You?

  • Up to 25 days' annual leave

  • Flexible benefits package (healthcare, dental, retail discounts)

  • 4x life assurance

  • Up to 10% pension contribution

  • Funded training, professional development & apprenticeships

  • Two paid volunteering days per year

  • A supportive, inclusive team culture

📌 Important to Know

This is a fully onsite role requiring flexibility to work weekends, evenings, early mornings, nights, and bank holidays as part of a rota.

We're reviewing applications and interviewing weekly, apply today and make a real difference.
