Employee Relations Advisor

Hybrid - Home Based with National Travel
Full-Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Driving licence & access to a vehicle essential

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join a forward-thinking organisation making a real difference in young people's lives.

You will be the go-to expert for managers, providing guidance and support across a wide range of employee relations matters. Ensuring cases are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with company values will be at the heart of what you do.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a wide range of ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and appeals
  • Advising managers on employment law, HR policies, and best practice
  • Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle ER matters
  • Managing cases relating to absence, probation, and flexible working
  • Analysing HR data including absence trends and ER case insights
  • Supporting the development of HR toolkits, policies, and guidance
  • Overseeing HR systems including Sage People administration and reporting

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience providing HR/ER advice in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and ER processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using HR systems (experience with Sage HR/People is advantageous)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable
