Registered Manager - Adults Learning Disabilities
FTC 12 months covering maternity, full time hours, Morecambe.
Are you seeking a new opportunity where you can make a difference in supporting adults with complex needs, autism and learning disability?
Are you flexible to be able to work full time on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months covering maternity leave?
If so we're seeking a skilled Registered Manager to join the team for an organisation who pride themselves on providing the highest quality of care and support to vulnerable adults.
The role:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential service for adults with learning disability, autism and behaviours that may challenge.
- Adhere to all support plans and risk assessments ensuring the strong leadership of the staff teams.
- Manage and support a team of support staff and complete all supervisions, and regular 1-1 meetings.
- Ensure the delivery of person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being of all clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and organisational requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation, preparing for inspections and audits.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively to optimise service delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and professional development within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Manager experience of working in a similar setting and hold the Level 5 Leadership & Management.
- Proven experience in supporting adults with complex needs and autism, demonstrating leadership and operational skills.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in adult social care.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and service improvement initiatives.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Flexible to work full time, on site and to participate in the on call system.
- Person centred, with positive attitude and the ability to lead from the front.
