About the Company
A rapidly growing international organisation leading the way in open scientific research. Their mission is simple: make science accessible to everyone. With billions of article views and a global research community, they are expanding their Publishing Development team and looking for a driven Journal Specialist to join them.
What You Will Be Doing
* Managing the full journey of scientific article collections from concept to publication
* Building strong relationships with researchers and academic editors
* Driving growth in assigned scientific areas using data?driven insights
* Conducting outreach calls, including confident cold?call?style engagement
* Supporting authors and improving publishing processes
* Recruiting new experts to strengthen editorial boards
What You Will Need to Succeed
* Experience in sales or business development
* Confidence managing high volumes of work
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Passion for Open Science and meaningful, mission driven work
