Are you an experienced Service Manager or Team Leader looking for an exciting leadership opportunity in Skipton? Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs?

We are recruiting a dedicated and motivated Service Manager / Team Leader to oversee a specialist supported living service in Skipton. This service supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs and mobility needs, helping individuals to live as independently as possible within a safe and person-centred environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities - Service Manager / Team Leader

✔ Lead, motivate and develop a staff team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs in Skipton
✔ Ensure the service meets all CQC standards and delivers safe, high-quality care
✔ Supervise, mentor and support staff development, promoting strong leadership within the Team Leader structure
✔ Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce development within the Skipton service
✔ Oversee care planning, risk management and person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs
✔ Build strong relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
✔ Support operational oversight including rota management, compliance and service performance
✔ Work closely with senior leadership to continuously improve the supported living service in Skipton

About You

We are looking for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader with strong knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.

You will ideally have:

✔ Experience as a Service Manager, Deputy Manager or Team Leader within a CQC-regulated service
✔ Strong leadership and staff development skills
✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
✔ Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC compliance and supported living best practice
✔ Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs
✔ Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
✔ Commitment to delivering outstanding support services in Skipton
