Support Worker / Carer - Waking Nights
Location: Sherwood, Nottingham
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: Waking Nights - 8:00pm to 9:00am
Contract: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available

The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker / Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of residents throughout the night. You'll provide reassurance, respond to any needs or incidents, and maintain a safe and settled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and emotional support during waking night shifts
- Carry out regular checks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents
- Support with personal care where required
- Accurately complete night records, logs, and handovers
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or changes in behaviour
- Maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment overnight
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or support work is desirable (training can be provided)
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Good communication and basic record-keeping skills
- Right to work in the UK
