We are looking for a compassionate, driven, and experienced Team Leader to join our Supported Living Services in Ferryhill, County Durham.

Our services provide high-quality supported living and outreach support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex needs. At the heart of everything we do is a person-centred approach - working closely with individuals to understand their goals, build on their strengths, and support them to live confident, independent, and fulfilling lives.

No two days are the same, and no two individuals we support are the same. If you are ready to step into leadership and make every day count, this could be the role for you.

Our work is guided by core values of Passion, Empowerment, Respect, and Collaboration, which underpin all policies and practices.

About the Organisation

We are part of a leading UK provider of adult social care, supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs, acquired brain injuries, autism, and complex needs. The organisation's mission is to empower the people it supports to live their best lives, achieve independence, and reach their full potential within their communities.

The organisation was recognised as Specialist Care Provider of the Year 2025 (Large Group Category) at the National Care Awards.

What's in It for You?

Joining our team means more than starting a job - you will be part of a service dedicated to empowering people to live fulfilling lives.

  • Career development opportunities including paid training and recognised qualifications (NVQs/QCFs)
  • A leadership role where you can make a meaningful impact
  • Flexible financial support with access to earned pay
  • A wellbeing-focused culture that prioritises staff support
  • Refer-a-Friend reward scheme
  • An inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and individuality

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will work closely with senior management to assess support needs, implement person-centred plans, and help drive continuous improvement in care quality.

You will:

  • Lead, support, and inspire staff across multiple services
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred support is delivered at all times
  • Support positive outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
  • Oversee support plans, compliance, and internal quality audits
  • Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate

You are passionate about making a difference and are a confident leader who thrives in a care environment.

You will have:

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs
  • A Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • A compassionate, respectful, and emotionally intelligent approach
