5-bed group living service based in Leeds, LS7, supporting young people in a stable, low-risk environment with no challenging behaviour.

This service supports young people aged 16-25 (typically up to 18 unless additional needs are identified), many of whom are care leavers transitioning from residential care, other group living settings, or family breakdown.

The focus is on supporting young people to manage their emotional needs, engage in education (with many attending college), and develop the skills required for independent living. As care leavers, these young people are supported within a structured group living environment that promotes confidence, resilience, and long-term independence

Are you ready to step up and lead within a dynamic group living service supporting young people and care leavers?

Supported by our Ofsted Registered Service Manager, you will lead a team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to young people in a structured group living environment. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you will empower young people, including care leavers, to build independence, resilience and achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and motivating a team supporting young people within a group living setting
  • Overseeing and reviewing support plans for young people and care leavers
  • Ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding for all young people
  • Deputising for the Service Manager when required
  • Working closely with external professionals to achieve positive outcomes for young people
  • Participating in the on-call rota (additional pay applied)

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting young people, particularly care leavers, in a group living or supported accommodation setting
  • Confidence managing behaviours that challenge
  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Passion for improving outcomes for young people and care leavers

Career Progression:
We invest in our leaders. You'll have access to ongoing development, including the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care - supporting your progression within services for young people and group living provision.

If you are passionate about leading teams, supporting young people, and making a real difference to care leavers in a positive group living environment - we want to hear from you
