Customer Account Manager / Collections
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (Hybrid working available after training - driving recommended due to location)
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 8:00am - 5:00pm)
Brook Street is working with a growing client based in Stratford-upon-Avon who is seeking a Customer Account Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will manage customer accounts that have fallen into arrears, working closely with individuals to understand their financial circumstances and agree affordable, sustainable repayment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding payment arrears
- Negotiate repayment arrangements aligned with customer circumstances and company policies
- Communicate with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
- Make informed decisions based on individual situations
- Maintain accurate and professional customer records
- Identify and escalate customer vulnerabilities in line with procedures
Skills & Experience
- Confident and professional telephone manner with a strong empathetic approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Target-driven with good time management and organisational skills
- Previous experience in debt negotiation is desirable but not essential
