About the Role
The Invoicing Administrator role sits within the Invoicing Team in FCD at UK Export Finance (UKEF). You will support the Purchase Order & Invoicing Assistant to ensure all invoices are recorded and processed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes.
A key focus of this role is the prompt processing of invoices from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), ensuring timely payment. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day processing of all UKEF invoices and purchase orders, while helping resolve queries across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Process all invoices in a timely manner in line with finance and procurement guidelines, with a focus on prompt payment of SME invoices
Raise and issue purchase orders and carry out UKEF purchase order processing
Organise and maintain accurate records and documentation using UKEF systems and processes
Respond to queries from the wider business
Send reminders to Goods Receivers to review and approve invoices through the workflow system
Support the Purchase Ledger team with invoice processing and queries when required
Provide cover for fellow Invoicing Administrators during periods of absence
Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, other government departments, and external financial institutions
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working with 40% office attendance

Fixed-term contract until 16 June 2026
