Alcohol Practitioner, Substance Misuse Worker, Recovery Worker/Coordinator We are actively recruiting proactive individuals who would like to achieve professional growth within the Social Care sector. You must also have proven record of experience in Social Care and a background in Substance Misuse. You must be familiar with alcohol detox and needle exchange programmes. You will develop Recovery Plans according to your caseload and demonstrate highly skilled methods to help the most vulnerable getting their lives back in control throughout this tough journey. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team who will provide support, development, and the tools necessary to deliver continuously to regular service users. Key duties" Supporting service users from entry and throughout their recovery journey." Screening, assessments, psychosocial and clinical interventions." 1to1 key work, POD, and group work." Recovery planning and referrals." Promoting and developing individual community involvement, (re)integration." Providing advocacy for access to partnership services.Requirements" 6 months + experience within the same position or a similar job role."
